Naval Post Graduate School Success Story
NextBrick built the Naval PostGraduate School's Homeland Security Digital Library (HSDL) a web-based digital library to archive digital documents. The HSDL is a Department of Homeland Security funded resource for NPS faculty and students which provides a comprehensive online homeland security research resource. NPS library scientists use the tools built into the HSDL by Nextbrick to continually archive digital assets relevant to homeland security in a variety of topics including terrorism research, medicine, warfare, and politics.
 
NextBrick's services provided as part of construction of the HSDL included requirements gathering, design, information architecture creation, hardware and software repository configuration, custom application development, portal deployment, and search and categorization deployment. NextBrick has continued to be engaged with the HSDL in a support capacity and is currently building the next version of the HSDL, which will be provided to other government agencies as a research resource.
 
Sun Microsystems Success Story
NextBrick partnered with Sun Microsystems and provided services to help build the Sun MySales portal, based on the iPlanet Portal Server. The MySales portal serves Sun's global sales force with web-based access to product information, news, collaboration, search, and other key content and applications.
 
NextBrick's services included design, development, identity management work, information architecture, and maintenance. NextBrick has continued to partner with Sun to provide ongoing assistance maintaining the various applications and releases that comprise the MySales portal.
 
Meyer Success Story
NextBrick partnered with Meyer to build a new product loyalty website based on Vignette's content management system. NextBrick provided requirements gathering, project management, content delivery application delivery, content architecture, personalization, and maintenance. Meyer was able to deliver a world-class product loyalty site for one of their flagship brands, and will be repurposing this new architecture to roll out more loyalty sites for their other brands.
 
Travelocity Success Story
NextBrick assisted Travelocity with migrating from V6 to V7 of Vignette's content management system. The engagement included information architecture, requirements gathering, content architecture, content inventory, migration script development, prototyping, migration, and other key tasks associated with moving Travelocity to the newest version of VCM.
