OpenDoc provides an Events Calendar portlet which allows intranet/internet site managers to publish an organizational events to an attractive calendar application which users can browse by month, week, day, and event summary views. The application is useful for universities and other organizations who need to communicate upcoming events. The application also includes search and a suggestion box. Events can be grouped into categories. Administrators administer the events calendar to manage events and event categories.
